Remembering Shawn
This Thankful Thursday we are thankful for all of those who work diligently to ensure our programs run smoothly. In particular, we’d like to recognize Shawn. Shawn was a member of the Cantrail Coach Lines Ltd team that transported our softball and baseball teams to away games and back. He was very much a part of the Softball team’s 32-0 regular season run. However, Shawn tragically passed away a week before the NWAC Championships. In memory of him, the team had his name patched onto their jerseys for the Championships. Although Shawn may not have been a part of Douglas College, he was a Royal through and through. Thank you for everything Shawn, rest in peace. #PrideisForever #BleedGreen
