Weekend Recap: Slammed
Softball and Baseball were back in action over the past week, with softball earning a big win on their opening day.
Softball and Baseball were back in action over the past week, with softball earning a big win on their opening day.
The softball team had a statement game on opening day, defeating Shoreline 8-0 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, they fell in the following game 8-7. Friday saw them lose 16-5 to Bellevue, but they were able to come back and take the second game 8-7. They had yet another split on Sunday, winning 7-4 and then losing 9-4 against Everett.
It was a tough weekend for the baseball team. They lost both games to Bellevue on Saturday, 6-1 and 5-3. On Sunday they had had no luck either, coming up short 3-0 and 12-5 to Bellevue as well. The team is looking ahead to playing Everett this week in hopes to bounce back.
