Jeff Ross named Douglas College Royals Women’s Volleyball Head Coach
The Douglas College Royals are pleased to announce Jeff Ross as the new head coach of the women’s volleyball program.
The Douglas College Royals are pleased to announce Jeff Ross as the new head coach of the women's volleyball program.
Jeff brings both post-secondary and club experience as a former assistant coach with the UBC women's volleyball program and as Team BC's women's head coach. Coupled with his CIS and Volleyball BC's experience, Ross is passionate about giving back to the community and offers numerous volleyball sport development clinics in Aboriginal communities throughout Western Canada. In 2017, Jeff will lead Team BC's U19 Women's Indigenous team to Toronto as the head coach.
"I'm really excited and looking forward to the opportunity to take on the head coach role for the Royals. I believe the team is in a good position, with a good core of returning players. This team has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to the season," says Ross.
"I am confident Jeff will build a successful women's volleyball program both on and off the court. We look forward to what Jeff and our team can accomplish in the coming years," says Athletics Manager, Brian Mclennon.
